About us
I work on homes across the Hamptons and Long Island: interior trim and finish carpentry, custom built-ins, cabinet and furniture installation, decking and cedar siding. Interior or exterior, new build or repair, every job is measured on site and built to the house it belongs to — no two houses out here are square in the same places, and a piece cut in a shop to a drawing will show it.
Most of my work comes from homeowners, builders and designers who call back. That happens for plain reasons. The job is finished when I said it would be finished. Materials are ordered early so nothing stalls halfway through. The site is covered before the first cut and swept before I leave, every day. And the details that need an extra hour get the extra hour, because those are the details a client looks at for the next twenty years.
I also work around your calendar. Houses out here are rented, sold, opened for the season and full of guests on weekends — tell me the window you have and I will plan the job around it, including early starts, Saturdays and off-season work while the house sits empty.
And you will always know where the job stands. If something behind the wall turns out different than expected, you hear it the day I find it, with what it changes and what it costs — not at the end, and not on the invoice.

WHAT WE DO
Services
Finish Carpentry
The details that decide how a room reads: casing, panel work, wainscoting, coffered ceilings and built-in shelving cut to the wall it sits against.
Trim & Moulding
Baseboard, crown, chair rail and window returns — mitred tight, scribed to the floor, and filled so the joints stay invisible after paint.
Doors
Interior and exterior doors hung, planed and adjusted. Pockets, barn slides, French pairs, hardware, weatherstripping and closers.
Windows
Replacement units set, flashed and trimmed inside and out, with sills and aprons built to keep weather where it belongs.
Deck Repairs
Rotten boards, loose railings and failing framing replaced in mahogany, cedar or composite — and rebuilt fully when repair is not worth it.
Exterior Carpentry
Cedar shingle and clapboard siding, fascia and soffit, corner boards, pergolas, outdoor showers and rot repair on the weather side of the house.

The first call
Tell me about the project, or send a photo of what you are looking at. You will hear back the same day, most days — from me, not from an answering service.
A visit to the house
I take measurements, look at what sits behind the finish, and we talk through materials, timing and how the room is actually lived in.
A written proposal
A fixed price with the scope set down in writing: what is included, what it costs, and when it will be finished. Nothing appears later that we did not discuss.
The build
Floors papered, dust contained, the work planned around your calendar. The house is left clean at the end of every day, not at the end of the job.
